Snot Goblins: Art Zoom Event

Learn how to draw disgusting monsters with professional illustrator David Degrand (other works are Spongebob Comics, Mad Magazine, The Simpsons, Garfield, and Adventure Time). from the new book Snot Goblins: And Other Tasteless Tales.

In this 1 hour virtual session, David will teach your child how to turn a random shape into a fun character, add details to make the characters fun/unique, and draw characters from the book.

The first 10 sign-ups will receive a free Snot Goblins Bookmark and sticker.

BETH SUSSMAN received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the Juilliard School on a full scholarship and has performed throughout Europe and North America. In addition to her performance schedule, Beth is currently a Master Teaching Artist with the Music Center of Los Angeles County and is on the National Teaching Artists Roster for The Kennedy Center.  She has also led Professional Development training for educators at Cal State Fullerton, Hofstra University, The Skirball Cultural Center, Midwest Arts Integration Conference, The Diller-Quaile School of Music (New York) and at many schools and school districts throughout Southern California. 

She recently presented the very first family concert at the Huntington Gardens and Museum to celebrate their centennial and has been named a fellow by the Hermitage Foundation and the Jubilation Foundation.

Beth’s video: “Joppity” presents musical concepts that help young children improve their reading skills. “Joppity” features an entertaining story, fun characters (including puppets) and musical activities which make learning these skills fun and exciting. It is a Hollywood produced video co-created by writers from “The Simpsons”, “Sonic Boom” and “Suite Life of Zack & Cody”.
